20 Rules for Life
Long version
- Do the most enjoyable and rewarding thing to do at the moment.
- Be heavily focused on creating (producing) instead of consuming in everything you do.
- Time flies. It inevitably gets wasted if no effort is put in. This happens to everyone.
- Only treat your loved ones with a positive attitude. Have empathy.
- Fix your posture. Stand up straight with your shoulders back.
- Have self-respect and self-love. Set high standards for yourself.
- Either find joy or urgency in everything.
- If there is no adrenaline in whatever you are doing, you are doing it wrong or it is not worth continuing.
- There is always reason to be worried that things might go wrong.
Fix them, or be prepared for the consequences of your own carelessness.
- Spend your time each day on things that yield long-term results.
- Meditate. Be mindful. Define your situation and problems in great detail.
- You are often wrong. There is always a better approach, so find it.
- Ignore unimportant matters. Actively stay away from distracions.
- Smile. There are several good reasons to always be smiling.
- Finish things early. The less time spent, the higher the productivity.
- Stay healthy; physically and mentally. Bad health starts with small acts of neglect.
- Pain is gain. Effort never betrays.
- Under any circumstances, use the internet less than 2 hours a day.
- Be honest to yourself about your feelings.
- All sorts of unusual things happen. If something unusual happens,
you have to accept it as such, shake it off, and move on.
